“Antidote to Unreasonable Cost and frustrations”

One day, when I met my cousin brother in a festival, he said “ Brother, very often I knock the graphic design firms to make garment industry catalog, brochure, poster, bill boards and work related to graphic design, but they do not provide me with satisfactory/quality service maintaining deadline in a cost effective manner. Can you find me a solution to get rid of this problem?”

I replied “Man! You are surely living in the primitive age. Why don't you look for the profitable and quality service provider firm through INTERNET? You will see Photoshopclippingpath.us.,a graphic design firm from U.S.A., providing production facility located in Indian subcontinent. which is always customer-oriented and flexible to any rational condition to the clients for image manipulation task. They are 24X7 professional service provider and maintain strict deadline."

Readers, here I just brought into light a part of my brother's afore said words. I am working in Photoshopclippingpath.us. in official sector. As I have experienced the astonishing image manipulation task of the graphic artists with a simple image so it has really increased my eagerness about graphic design. I make sure to learn the art of clipping and masking from the talented graphic professionals’ in my leisure.
Though I am not a professional graphic designer, yet I have the courage to explore things through Internet. But I do really want to share the acquired knowledge on " How To" on clipping path and layer masking procedure in Photoshop.
Clipping path makes all the possibility in an image initially. Because whenever we will take our inspired selected part of an image to another background for further intention, then we are to cut off that part first. There is no other alternative way to show the magic.

Procedure of clipping path:

We see two images. We first run Adobe Photoshop software and open a stored image from the File menu. Selecting the layer in the layer palate we will click on pen tool and a selected nib icon will be (path) appeared under the Manu bar and we will select on the path. Some times automatically it is selected.

Before starting path in an image we will zoom the image pressing Ctrl and + and move it pressing space bar to have accurate path. When a curve situation will arrive in the image we will outline curve and pressing Alter we will broke it in the line. After completing the path we will make selection pressing the right button of the mouse on the image. Next copying or cutting it we will place it in a new layer. A new layer is taken clicking create a new layer icon below the layer palate. This way it will be easily movable as our wish. Then, we will save it from the File menu as jpg format. A clipped path image will be useful for any further editing on Quark Press, Adobe PageMaker, Adobe Illustrator, Macromedia FreeHand, etc. What is noticeable in clipping path is it takes more practices to be expert and slow operation to make it alright.

Photoshop masking:

Masking is hiding a section of an image, exhibiting any thing with glaze to create acceptance to others, to show a false image as the real and alive and adjusting an image with the background layer.
Photoshop masking is subdivided into different categories depending on the techniques applied to them. The most known forms are layer masking, Complex Layer Masking, Alpha Channel Masking, Transparency Masking, Translucent Image Masking and more. I just tried to show how a possible masking effect is created for a flying airplane image on water.
Firstly, we will run Adobe Photoshop and open a stored image as for example water scenery as a background layer from the file menu in the Manu bar.
Again we will take another image (i.e. an airplane) as the same way from the file menu and clipping it with Pentool we will place it (only plane) on the background layer and close the old layer.
Now, selecting the clipped image on the layer palate we will click on the add layer mask, a white circle below the layer palate. Now clicking on the gradient tool in the tool box we will see a black & white gradient icon in the option bar appeared.
It is to remember that if the gradient in the option bar appears at multicolor than we are to make it black & white by double clicking on it. When double clicked will be made on the gradient icon than a dialogue box will be appeared and we will apply black & white. We can do another alternative way by making foreground color white and black ground color black in the tool box. Without having gradient color black & white it is not feasible to create masking effect.
As gradient tool has been selected now we will drag on the image and thus we will see that the image has been mixed up with the back ground layer and has created a masking effect.

Actually, if we learn these "HOW TO" we can make the best use of our time and contribute to our personal and social need. Again a task done by own self is hundred times better than done by others as it satisfies us and act as an antidote to unprovoked cost and frustration.
